Bayern Munich and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
Harry Kane gave Bayern the lead from the penalty spot in the 60th minute, but Vinicius Junior equalized for Real Madrid just five minutes later, also from the spot. Bayern regained the lead through Thomas Müller in the 75th minute, but Rodrygo pulled Real Madrid level again in the 80th minute.
The result leaves the tie evenly poised heading into the second leg in Madrid on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
Bayern Munich will be looking to reach their first Champions League final since 2021, while Real Madrid will be aiming to win the competition for the fifth time in eight years.
